I don’t normally make sushi rolls at home but I have now started to question myself on that. 😕
I’m going to make sushi rolls at least once a week! Ok… May be too carried away eh? :p
I like my sushi rolls filled with loads of stuff I love the burst of flavours dipped into soya sauce and grated wasabi paste oh … YUM! All the Japanese out there My Salam to you! 🙂
It’s so fresh and filling! Healthy and making it yourself is really fun too… Try it out with your family and friends. I guarantee you a good time spent! 😍
I like to use smoke salmon as the key Umami here! Love smoked salmon!👌
Normally I would use a bamboo mat but you can still make them using a ziplock bag or any plastic sheet…
I shall today show you how to use a ziplock bag to roll them ! 😀
Stuff you’ll need :
Chicken cheese sausage
Grated wasabi paste
Light soy sauce
Red caviar or flying fish eggs
Roasted seaweed sheets (nori)
Beat up salt and egg with chopped coriander then Pan fry it in very little oil. Create a bright yellow omelette!
Place the nori on the zip lock bag shiny side down then put vinegar into the rice and mix well. Now put the rice on the nori and spread the rice covering the nori. Use water to wet fingers while doing this so that the rice does not stick to ur fingers.
Line up the filling put what ever u like! What I used here includes chicken cheese sausage, cucumber, smoked salmon, omelette, garlic shrimps and spinach kimchi. To make the garlic shrimps just simply heat up 1 tbsp oil in a pan and stir in 1tbsp of garlic paste and a cup of shrimps for 5 minutes! Yup it’s that easy! Go easy on the wasabi paste in the filling. 🙂
Start rolling !!! Cut ! And serve with soy sauce and wasabi paste.
I will soon share a recipe of smoked salmon California sushi roll . 🙂
