And I love Carpaccio! from salmon to beef… raw is the key. Carpaccio is basically thinly sliced meat, lemon, capers, olive oil, black pepper, rocket leaves and parmesan! And of course salt to be or not to be. 😛
I have seen some versions of carpaccio with fruits and french bread abroad, This Italian dish, a delicacy for people in Pakistan is becoming very popular, so I thought to myself might just as well make it easy for you guys to be able to make it at home!

I like to use undercut for this one… love the fatty white marbling! You can source this from “Meat One”.
I already know some of my friends are going to go crazy!
lets start then?
Things you’ll need : (for 2 people)
25 gram undercut beef meat (frozen)
1/2 pickled gherkin or some capers
4-5 black grapes
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (first press)
salt to taste
paprika for garnishing
your meat must be SUPER frozen!
Slice it as thin as you can and be really careful not to cut your fingers off. 😛
Place them on the plate one by one… now slice the gherkins and place them on the meat like pepperoni on the pizza dough. 🙂
NOW! chop up the avocado and marinate it with salt and lemon. Put that in the middle of the plate. garnish with paprika and lemon slices or wedges… add sliced black grapes and drizzle olive oil all over!
squeeze lemon juice before eating… serve with french bread if you like and forget not to share! 🙂
